Knitting Pattern 8ply Yarn – Beanies 2 x 2 Rib Beanie – Head circumference 54cm and 59cm Yarn and weight – 8ply 22 stitches and 28 rows = 10cm over stocking stitch in 4.00mm (UK 8) needles Needle sizes – 1 pair of 3.25mm (UK 10) knitting needles, 1 pair of 4.00mm (UK 8) knitting needles. Option to knitting hat in the round: Needle sizes – 3.25mm (UK 10) circular needle (40cm long), 4.00mm (UK 8) circular needle (40cm long), set of 5 double pointed needles (dpn’s) 4.00mm (UK 8).   Basic Beanie – Head circumference 54cm and 59cm Yarn and weight – 12ply 17 stitches and 22 rows = 10cm over stocking stitch in 5.50mm (UK 5) needles Needle sizes – 1 pair of 5.00mm (UK 6) knitting needles, 1 pair of 5.50mm (UK 5) knitting needles.
